The Stroke Association Support Network-Ghana (SASNET-GHANA) was established in 2012 as a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization with the following vision and mission: We want a nation that recognises stroke, a non-communicable disease, as a public health priority and that all its peoples are fully educated about the risk factors and signs of stroke, and all those affected by stroke have access to the best possible treatment and rehabilitation support We campaign for better stroke services and provide preventive and rehabilitation/recovery support services to stroke survivors, and promote research into all aspects of stroke in Ghana.
