July 5, 2023 at 10:17 pmabsolutely agree. my bio also watches me like a hawk and we’ve set mini- goals each week. as I AM able to walk with no difficulty and my balance has improved. both bio and PT have set boundaries for my weekly and weekend walks. having goals really helps one! see you on the mountains!

May 25, 2020 at 10:29 pmMy PT said as long as you keep the muscles moving—like in seated marching, or stand and sit repeatedly with the chair behind you—is better than nothing. When I feel stronger, I’ll grab onto the edge on the sink for stability and do some exercises like partial squats. You best check with your PT and do exercises that are appropriate for you depending where you are in strength and mobility, judged to keep you safe from falling.
