We campaign for better stroke services and provide preventive and rehabilitation/recovery support services to stroke survivors, and promote research into all aspects of stroke in Ghana
We want a nation that recognizes stroke, a non-communicable disease, as a public health priority and that all its peoples are fully educated about the risk factors like Hypertension, Diabetes, High Blood Cholesterol, Atrial Fibrillation, etc. and signs of stroke, and all those affected by stroke have access to the best possible treatment and rehabilitation support
The Stroke Association Support Network-Ghana (SASNET-Ghana)Established on 16th March 2012 by Rev. Dr Immanuel Alpha-Christ, Chief Dr. Ben S. Jabuni and Mr Ad Adams Ebenezer. Following its incorporation over five years ago, has been delivering community-based preventive and rehabilitation services to about a third of the population of Ghana, but only able to focus efforts in the Eastern Region, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti Region ,Western Region, Greater Accra Region, Northern Region and parts of the Volta Region but will eventually cover the entire regions in Ghana .
