A therapeutic group for stroke survivors is run on a weekly basis in Macassar. Groups are 2-3 hours in duration and consist of exercises, as well as cognitive and perceptual activities/games. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Outpatient Rehab Center of Kennestone Hospital (100 Lacy Street). We enjoying sharing our stories, hearing from outstanding speakers, being part of planned social outings, and encouraging each other. We are a member group of the Brain Injury Association of Georgia, and a close partner with the Strokefocus. We welcome all TBI and ABI survivors and caregivers.
